I’ve decided to capture moments of my journey of physical and mental health.
From September 2014 to November 2014
It’s been over a year since our deployment. I hadn’t looked at this blog since that time and decided to look back at the journey. I’m just trying to get back into personal writing.
From April 2013 through July 2013
This is about the process of deployment. Pre, during, and after. As a military ANG wife I am blogging through my experiences in the phases and various emotions that accompany the process.
Sometimes the entries will be sad, but I am trying to not let that be the main theme. I want to focus on the positive to not just survive, but thrive through this deployment. Also, I am a mother of two young girls and I want to be a good example for them. As well, I need to be strong for my husband so he doesn’t have to worry so much about his girls at home.
I am very thankful this deployment is just a couple months and that I am near many wonderful family and friends.
My hope that this blog will be an encouragement to other families and be informative to those of a non-military background.
Details of the deployment including dates and location will not be provided. Please do not ask or comment about these two issues.
