My two year old, Claire, she’s amazing, so intelligent, and loves her Daddy *thisssssssss* much. Periodically during the day she will stop mid play and comment, “Daddy is at work. He’ll be home soon.” During the deployment how will I look into her precious face and tell her, “Not today.”? This is just one of things that crosses my mind as the date draws near. But I need to focus, and I need to stay postitive, and I need to stay strong for our girls.

The weather will be nice. We will be out and about. Though we will miss our military man we are determined to stay busy and have fun. Breathe and repeat as many times as necessary.

Family and friends live close by and are more than willing to visit more than normal, lend a helping hand whenever, and are a super strong support system. They are encouraging, loving, and all around wonderful.

Technology is amazing and will help keep us connected. Hubby will have access to internet and skype. It may not be on a daily basis but it sure will be amazing to have this available.
